Why
We Trust LSP
At EIGHT Consulting, we are dedicated to fostering innovation, collaboration, and transformative change within organizations. One of the unique methods we use to achieve these goals is the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® (LSP) method. We believe in the power of this hands-on, minds-on approach to problem-solving and strategic planning for several compelling reasons:

01
Enhanced Creativity and Innovation
The LSP method fosters creativity by encouraging participants to think with their hands and engage their imagination, using physical models to uncover ideas not typically found in standard discussions.
02
Improve communication
LSP ensures everyone has an equal voice. Building and sharing models clarifies thoughts, fostering deeper understanding and alignment among team members.
03
Deeper Engagement and Participation
The interactive nature of LSP ensures active involvement from everyone, leading to greater commitment and ownership of outcomes as participants feel directly connected to the solutions developed.
04
Complex Problem-Solving
LSP simplifies complex problems into manageable parts. Visualizing elements helps identify connections and patterns, leading to more effective solutions.
05
Team Building and Collaboration
Building together fosters teamwork and collaboration, strengthening relationships and building trust among team members through shared problem-solving.

Benefits aligned with our mission
Practical and Hands-On
LSP is not about producing lengthy reports but about engaging directly with the challenges at hand and developing practical, implementable solutions.
Inclusive and Empowering
We believe in empowering all members of an organization, ensuring that every voice is heard and valued. LSP facilitates this inclusivity, making it an ideal tool for our collaborative approach
Focused on Outcomes
Our goal is to drive improvements and measurable results. LSP helps teams swiftly transition from ideas to actionable plans, ensuring workshop time translates into real-world benefits.
By integrating the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® method into our consultancy services, we stay true to our commitment to innovative, client-centric, and result-oriented solutions. We are proud to leverage this powerful tool to help our clients navigate their transformation journeys and achieve their strategic objectives.

How LSP method works

The LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® (LSP) method is a facilitated meeting, communication, and problem-solving technique in which participants use LEGO bricks to build models representing their ideas, thoughts, and solutions.
The process unfolds in four key steps
-
Question: The facilitator asks a clear and relevant question that the participants need to address.
-
Build: Participants construct a model using LEGO bricks to symbolize their response to the question.
-
Share: Each participant shares their model and its story with the group, explaining the meaning behind their creation.
-
Reflect: The group reflects on the models, discussing insights and exploring connections between the models to develop a collective understanding and actionable strategies.

The Facilitator Plays a Key Role
in Workshop Preparation and Success
The facilitator is essential in guiding the process, ensuring clarity and relevance of questions, and maintaining productive discussions. Proper preparation helps design effective questions aligned with session objectives.
The cycle of posing a question, building, sharing, and reflecting is repeated, with questions increasing in complexity to explore the problem deeper. Several Application Techniques like creating "landscapes" for broader contexts or "connections" for relationships can be used, enhancing insights and understanding through the LSP method.
